So me and my boyfriend have been togethet for almost two years... When we were first together I felt beautiful and he showed he wanted me. But just recently I got injured at work, with a lower back injury. I have gained a little weight since it was hard to move for a while... Well since ive gained the weight I cant bare to look at myselv in the mirror and everytime my boyfriend tells me I look beautiful, I completely think hes lying and why could anyone find this beautiful..... And not to help we have sex and he finishes and he has to finish me off still and its hard for me to finish cause he looks so bored... Whats wrong with me...

    If he didn't think you were still beautiful he wouldn't be there. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and believe that he's lucky to have you :o)

    All im going to say is...'beauty is on the eye of the beholder'

    and if you no longer feel beautiful do something about it so YOU can improeve YOUR self esteem. change your hair, cut it, dye it, change of clothes, something radical and new. Nothing is stopping you BUT YOU. You are your own problem and your own solution. If you start getting bored and tired of you.. what makes you think he wont? i know it sounds harsh but its the same principle as 'if you have no respect for you than why should i?'

    Think about it, what you feel will reflect in your relationship.

    it sounds like your boyfriend is being honest and you're just judging yourself too harshly since it seems that you aren't happy with your current appearance. he still has sex with you so that's a very obvious sign that he still finds you extremely attractive. i think you need to work on feeling better about yourself, even though this is a very difficult task (trust me i've been there). best of luck!

    Why does it matter if you've gained weight? Or are you under the impression that you need to be skinny to be beautiful? If your boyfriend says you're beautiful, it means he loves you for who you are regardless of whether he's entirely truthful or not. you need to get your confidence and emotional well being back in shape or else your relationship and sex life will be seriously affected.

    As well, there are so many definitions of beauty. People have the strangest tastes...you know the expression beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You may not find yourself beautiful, but others might. You need to stop over analyzing.
