Is it normal i don't think there's anything inherently bad about unisex toilets?

I don't think unisex toilets are inherently bad places to be, and I actually think if we didn't have a need for genderised toilets the world would have a lot less social conflict.

The only real danger with unisex toilets, and this is the point most feminists will clap back with, is that you can't control the urges of certain individuals who enter, and it leaves women without a "safe space" to run to when they feel uncomfortable.

I get that it's not acceptable for men to leer at, grope, fondle or rape women, but that's a separate issue. We should be telling our young children that it's OK to be around eachother but that no means NO and you should just go about your business without harming anyone.

Unfortunately, western society has become so overcrowded with attention seekers, SJWs and crybabies that they won't allow that to become a reality because they have a fear of the short-term consequences.

Also, I personally know hundreds of men who would kick a guys arse if he ever laid his hands on a woman, so having everyone in the same room to be vigilant and look out for perverts would ironically ADD protection from crimes like rape and sexual harrassment being committed.

Couldn't put it better 2
You're right, but I'm still apprehensive about using unisex toilets 2
Yes of course, everyone needs to pee and poop, including trans people 0
No, unisex toilets are inherently dangerous places to be 1

It’s a case of the few ruining it for the many. Most people would be fine but perverts and rapists would take advantage, especially as virtually everyone has a camera phone these days.

I agree there needs to be a much bigger focus on consent in sex education, I had it from ages 9-14 and it wasn’t covered once. Hopefully if it’s instilled in children from an early age incidents would drop, but we’re a long way off being ready for unisex toilets as a society. Sadly.

Honestly I'd rather flee to a bathroom with men in it. They are more likely to protect me over women. Like effectively. Men feel like honor bound to help women. At least straight men do so uh yea that's mg opinion

We should quit listening to people that play victim. If you have a problem with the toilets pee in a cup or go home. Always some people that want to control how everything works.

Most public bathrooms are unisex in my experience. Maybe in America that's less common.

Unisex single-occupant restrooms are common here.

    • I'm British and I see genderised toilets everywhere. Whereabouts do you live?
