Is it normal i don't know how to swim?

Hi,
Well am 31 year old, but I do not know how to swim! I took one course and I failed, but I would love to learn, is there any hope, and how?

My dad is forty-two and he doesn't know how to swim. He does nothing but sink to the bottom like an anchor.

People never stop learning. It is never too late to learn and swimming is simple. Please expand your skills but do so with a partner and never bite off more than you can chew.

i'm 19, i tried learning, and was a little good at it, then this guy pushes me at the deep end of the pool, and i was shocked, so i went to the bottom like a rock, since then, i could not swim, i tried, but i could not co-ordinate my hands and legs.....

and truthfully, i hate it, very badly....
