I'm British, and I don't give a fuck. Total apathy.

I think it's all a big distraction.

Whether we vote "stay" or "leave", we're still going to have the elitist greedy rich class motherfuckers screwing us over and getting even richer off our backs, while our politicians feed us empty promises and outright lies. If immigration is a concern to you (personally I don't give a flying fuck, genuinely), leaving the EU won't have much impact because most of our immigrants are from non-European ex-British Empire colonies anyway.

London has been one of the top economically and politically powerful cities in the world and that's not changing, so if we leave it's not going to impact anything, it's not going to stop other countries trading with us.

I feel like it's all a big debate over nothing. It's just about making the public feel like we have control over something, when really our lives are not going to change either way.

    Well... England was just a supply of money for the European Welfare State. They took back their sovereignty.
    Germany needs to do the same. The EU was a stupid socialist idea.

    I suppose I shouldn't be at all surprised that the us media isn't reporting this. Brexit is a british referendum on whether or not britain should stay in the EU

      Big news now in the USA. Especially in New York City. I've heard that it will lower interest rates in this country for a short while. Other than that I can't see how this Brevit thing will effect me. I'm middle income. Perhaps if I had money, real money, I'd be more concerned. But when you are a guy who considers a trip to Burger King a special treat, these Global economy shock waves I'm hearing about has no effect on how I'm sleeping each night. I'm still sleeping quite well, thank-you.

        You don't have any accumulated wealth because you aren't smart enough and/or lack the ambition to do so. Most likely a combination of both. Maybe you should try watching the news and interacting with the world you are a part of instead of stuffing your fat face at Burger King while at the same time thinking its a "special treat".

        The DJIA has the potential for one of the lowest single day point drops in history. That's pretty significant. Of course someone like you doesn't concern themselves with this. Too many whoppers that need eating eh?

            By the by: If you were not able to get my boot marks off your face yet, I would suggest soaking your entire face in a large tub of rubbing alcohol for a few seconds at a time. Be sure to keep your eyes closed while doing this in order to prevent total blindness. Keep this up for 4, maybe 5 hours. Then give your face a vigorous scrubbing with a stiff scrub brush, continually, for another 3 or 4 hours and you'll find that those deeply embedded black boot toe marks will begin to fade a bit. Until then I would suggest that you cover your face with a damp cloth. That way no one will see how you've disgraced yourself. Perhaps then you'll regain a modicum of self respect.
