Is it normal i don't feel like swapping my speech anymore?

So I have become very good at changing my speech patterns. Yet someone always seems to have to complain about something. I am a little sick of it. Initially I talked like a typical skater Californian. We tend to say "bro, Dude, you guys a lot. Now who is a dude? Literally anyone we talk to. Now there always has to be that prissy bitch who has to say "We not all guy mmmkay?" So I alter my speaking again to something more classy and people told me I sounded pretentious. At a few points I began imitating older folks who tend to use pet names like honey or dear. Which again bothers the shit out of people. At this piont I am a little fed up because sometimes I am speaking freely and forget to alter my patterns. To which I am scolded for saying something wrong.

I dont think there's any really bad accents in America. They sound kind of cool in their own way. Skater dudes sound funny but not in a bad way. They sound like party people.

I literally had this conversation last night. I talk at least 5-6 different ways. And I probably have like 15 different laughs. I don’t mean to do it. And no ones ever commented on it except someone telling me they liked a particular laugh that I do.

I don’t mind that I change so often. Yes, to suit people bc that’s literally what I do for work. It’s just adapting to people around you. Not actually changing yourself.

I genuinely can't tell if you had the stroke or I did.

    • Sorry, I not sure why it keeps jumbling my damn text on my phone. I tried editing it several times. I might retype this on computer.
