Is it normal i don't drink, but not because of any reason?

I don't drink, but I don't really have a reason for not drinking. I'm not against drinking, it's just not something that comes up. I'm not a social guy so I'm very rarely offered a drink at all, and my own money is spent on other things.

But I don't really feel right saying "I don't drink", since that implies that I have some kind of bias against it or moral obligation to avoid it. Is it normal not to have an actual reason for not drinking, while still not drinking?

I think it's normal, but it is probably an uncommon view to have. Keep in mind, that if you say you don't drink, most people will always challenge you in an efforts to find out why. Be prepared. If you don't want the hassle, say that you don't feel like it.

Nothin wrong with not drinking if you can be happy without it. Don't let anyone pressure you into thinking you need to drink. Do it only if you feel it's the right thing for YOU.

I am not a drinker either. A glass of wine with a meal is fine, but getting drunk is a sign that a person has poor social skills and poor self control. What a person does is their own business, but its just not for me. I have been approached a few times by tipsy women and its a pain to get away from them because they are persistent and don't take the hint.
I guess I'm saying, just be you. You don't owe anyone an explanation.

More power to you I guess, but I don't trust those who are always sober lol. Always feel like people who are always sober will just one day crack and go crazy!

That's fine. You don't owe anyone an explanation.

I'm like that as well. I don't drink at all. I am very social, though.
If someone offers me a drink I just say I don't drink. Rarely someone will hassle me with "why not?" or "life is meant to be enjoyed" reasoning.
I don't have a desire to drink and that's basically it.

I don't think I've ever met anyone who didn't drink, that did not have a reason not to drink. Something as complicated as extreme alcoholism in the family or something as simple as they just didn't like the taste.
Not that I'm criticizing what you posted, just saying.
