They're so problematic.

I don't like that we lock animals up in basically a cage or glass tank, with hardly any living space, to just be gawped at by people all day. Morally, I just don't like it. I haven't been to a zoo in years, can't even remember the last time I went, and don't think I will support one again.

I understand things like conservation sites where endangered animals are taken to be looked after and bred, for their survival. All that is great, I just don't like animals being locked up for viewing pleasure as a money-making commodity. It's not much better than a circus to me.

Open safari parks, or zoos which at least have much more open spaces for the animals, are somewhat better and I don't take so much issue with them.

    tbh i feel like if zoos let animals have a comfy amount of space to roam in (not those stupid square cages or small exhibits where the animal only has enough room to maybe walk around and back in only a few seconds) they would be fine, but most zoos have very small containments for the animals which honestly is really sad. imagine if you were trapped in an exhibit the size of an average house for your whole LIFE. you'd get bored pretty quick.

    i haven't gone to a zoo in years but the last time i went the zoo literally had like 6 dingoes all cooped up in an extremely small square metal cage with dirt and maybe just 1 log for them to sit on. no trees, no bushes, no rocks at all. there wasn't even enough room for them to spread out, they were all bunched up.

    Some zoos help endangered animals but for the most part they are making money showing these animals locked up. Terrible practice for enlightened ppl to engage in. It's like slavery for animals.

    Zoos are fine, I can vouch for it.

    Ever since I metamorphized into a manatee individual due my crippling Mac n' Cheese addiction situation, I've constantly gotten sent to zoo situations because people where wonder why there was a manatee individual out in public. Once, I was in a zoo for 8 months until they realized that I was actually a human individual. It's fun. No job situation, plenty of Mac n' Cheese, and no hateful individuals attacking my family through the Internet situation.

    Yes it's normal I hate zoos as well. The next time I go to a zoo it better be a people zoo ran by animals and have people on display in cages and tanks filled with water that would be a fun day at the zoo.
