Is it normal i do not understand why some condiment containers are upside down

It started a few years ago. SOme of the ketchup and mayonnaise bottles in the grocery store are upside down with the cap on the bottom. Not all of the brands are like this, just some of them.

And mustard is still normal. They didn't flip mustard upside down as far as I can tell.

What is the point of selling them upside down? They just fall over more easily now.. and why only ketchup and mayonnaise bottles and not other things like salad dressing or olive oil or mustard or barbecue sauce ??

I do wonder what will become of this world if this OP is in any way a representative of his/her generation's intelligence.

Either the grocery store, in a philanthropic attempt to promote opportunity for the challenged within the community, hired a retarded stock boy or the bottles are supposed to be like that. I could be wrong, it's happened once before, but I think the products you're looking at have a large cap on the bottom and are intended to rest on this cap so the contents are at the always near the opening. If you've ever beat a ketchup bottle like a mouthy trick then you'll realize the ingenious utility of the design. Go to the store, closely examine the products in question, and report back forthwith.....go on now.
