Is it normal i do not panic when someone die, but...

When someone close to be died i did not feel any emotions or panic when i heard that they had died. I went to the funeral and though i did feel some shock i did not cry. Now two weeks later i suddenly can not fathom that the person is dead. Thoughts like " i can not believe he is dead" or " no way he is dead" keep coming up. It is now that i really feel the loss and not really when it actually happened. IIN?

Everyone grieves differently. First rule dont compare yourself to others.

Normal. Some reactions are more delayed than others.

Normal. My friend died and when I found out i thought it was a joke and my first reaction was to laugh (lucky I didn't).
Sometimes it takes a very long time for it to sink in..
