Is it normal i developed this nonchulaunt attitude

I finally got away from my abusive situation and environment. Since then I have come to a new job in a new city. Since I been here have been given three duties which are supervisory roles. However often despite just doing my job duties those under me have given me major attitude for it. Even tried to get me fired on several occasions. Since living here I have had to barter for rides, other products I needed to survive and learn the bus schedule on my own. I do often do stuff like if I see a mess or disorganization in office clean it up or rearrange it. I also greet new workers even though it's not my job I'm just kind enough to try to get to know everyone. However it seems I've come to not care about other issues when they happen. Like if my creepy ex is going after a new person I don't care. I feel like if I saw trouble across the street at a store I would probably just ignore it. There was a big commotion at work since too workers tend to bicker and I avoided it by convinently leaving the room. I am getting this nonchulaunt attitude towards life. I even considered just quitting my job a few times since I was tired and didn't feel like getting up. I'm not sure why I turned out like this. Am I a horrible person?
