Is it normal i cant tolerate dangerously stupid people?

When I hear an extremely stupid person make an argument it makes me sick. Its sort of one of my peeves. What I mean is people who say stuff like "Its immoral to only let people qualified or competent do certain jobs".

Which would mean for example if a hair barber wants to be a doctor and has no experience or training we should let him since if not it's totally immoral. I just feel like people with this level of stupid need to be put in a padded room since they are stupid to a level they might HURT OTHER PEOPLE!

Well, I reckon a lot of dangerously stupid people are in government in many, if not most countries, including my own. That's much more of a concern: dangerously stupid people with power have been creating havoc and destruction for ever

Higher levels of technical competence require increasingly higher levels of intelligence. Missile experts are one such example. Failure to perform engineering design tasks with complete competence result in high collateral damage after deployment.

If you study rocket science, you had better master the material.

    • Yes, but apparently some people think having competence to do a job is discrimination.

Absolutely. Discriminating on a job candidate's ability and willingness to deliver superior performance is a beautiful thing. It creates wealth and precision from which the entire society benefits.

Spoze. But, I pay no attention to dangerous stupidity, unless it produces amusing auto-darwination stories.
