I have lots of violent dream. Not sure why. I cannot think of someone I personally know who I haven't killed in a dream. Most I have killed quite brutally. People seem to be disturbed when I tell them I've killed them in dreams.
Why did so many people say this is not normal? We have no control over our dreams. If we kill someone in a dream it doesn't mean we'll kill them in real life.
I've been killed in my dreams by a few of my friends. Friends that have actually killed people, I grew up in a gang affiliated california neighborhood. Made me paranoid that somehow it could happen.
As a child I often got killed in my dreams.
As an adolescent I started doing new exiting things im my dreams and wakeing up with a problem.
But since I'm a somewhat grown man, I don't really remember my dreams anymore. Maybe I'm killing everyone too, but I don't know.
I don't think you should tell people you've killed them in your dreams. As long as you don't have the actual desire to kill them, I don't see a problem. Otherwise you could maybe find an outlet for these feelings.
They say that when you kill someone in your dream that you give them strength in real live.
While I don't think I've ever killed anyone in a dream before, I have lots of dreams where I get into verbal and physical fights with my family members. One night not too long ago I fought them all in a single dream. I have even dreamed of punching my pregnant sister in the gut! These dreams make me fear for what my unconscious mind might be thinking/feeling.
(oh, and for the record, my family and I NEVER get into arguments in real life! I am actually on really good terms with just about everyone in my family)
