Is it normal i cannot figure out candy crush saga?

I'm actually very good at certain types of puzzles but there are certain games (candy crush saga) that I just cannot seem to figure out.

My friends play it and send me requests all the time so I have tried to join in.

I understand that you line up 3 candies to wipe them out but I don't understand how to get rid of the solid fruits that I am supposed to erase.

I have genius level IQ on certain things but my executive functioning is below the mental retardation level (I've had IQ tests and got 0% on the Wisconsin Card Sorting Test that is used to test executive dysfunction.) I'm wondering if this is something used for this stupid game.

It's been months that I have not been able to pass the levels where you start getting the fruits that are supposed to be wiped out.

    Yes, you line up 3 or more candies (preferably more) in order to get rid of them. In order to get rid of solid fruits, you have to get them down to the bottom of the screen where there is a green arrow by popping the candies below them. The most important thing you have to remember about this game, however, is to never spend money on it.

    You dont erase the fruits you have to let them drop all the way to the bottom by....crushing candy I guess....and making way. Ive been stuck on level 30 something for like 6 months its pissing me off. Granted I rarely play the game though so idc.
