Is it normal i can't sleep without pills?

So I am finding myself every night having to take some sleeping pills to go to bed or else I just stay up all night no matter how tired I am. And for the record it's all over the counter stuff, Tylenol PM and some melatonin. But without it, I can't sleep. Is this normal for anyone? Or do I need to get help?

Aye, matey. I used to have that problem when I was sailin' the wild blue seas. I fixed it though by gettin' a hot young girl, 42 years me junior and sleepin' with her while the cruel sea rocks me little sailboat.

No if you work hard enough throughout the day falling asleep should be easy

Could be a number of different issues like anxiety or depression or insomnia so ask a doc. But in general, regular vigorous exercise during the day will help you to feel tired at night. Getting enough sunlight, eating regular meals, practicing good sleep hygiene, etc.., its all important.
