Seriously...... You actually do this!!!!! Well it sounds like OCD maybe! Yeah I'm pretty sure it's not normal but it's hardly life threatening! You might want to practise some anatomy to broaden your choice of films.
Your genes do such things to please themselves. Every move you make, is for your genes own benefit. This is everyone, in every situation. So essentially, yes. It's normal to please your genes.
Not really. Some traits are genetic, some are embryonic, and some are learned later. Not everything is genetic.
False. There is a mathematical equation proving this correct.
You saying what you just said, and me saying what im saying, is all to due to our genes. The mathematician who proved this to be correct, killed himself because no matter how selfless one may be, you never know if those selfless acts are only to benefit genetics. Tis a vicious cycle. It's fact, not fiction Violet oh Violet.
Don't get me wrong, some things definitely are genetic, and I think it's likely that some components of morality are genetic. Morality and altruism are beneficial to social animals, because they're an important part of what allows us to form civilisations.
Not all aspects of organisms are genetic, however. There are certain disorders and behaviours that you can be genetically prone to, but that don't pop up from genetics alone. For instance, PTSD doesn't develop unless a traumatic event occurs. It just doesn't. You might be predisposed to be athletic, but an interest in hockey, specifically, doesn't pop up unless you're in a culture where you're introduced to the concept of hockey. Anorexia is partially genetic, but whether or not it's triggered can depend on environmental and cultural factors. Identical twins, who are genetically the same, can have freckles in different places, different birthmarks, and different interests and personalities.
Genes are certainly extremely important to how people develop, but they're not the only things that determine how organisms turn out. Even some biological aspects of organisms, such as the location of freckles (but not the presence of freckles, which is genetic), the presence of and shape birthmarks, and anomalies such as foetal alcohol syndrome and parasitic twins can are caused by other factors during embryonic development, not genetics.
It doesn't have to be genetic. Its all to benefit the genetics not pass it on.
I disagree.
We are all influenced by our experiences, as well as our genes.
Not all human traits are evolutionarily beneficial, though. Some are just shitty anomalies. In fact, there are a lot of behaviours and disorders that only harm your chances of reproducing. Anorexia is extremely harmful, as it can kill you or render you infertile. Homosexuality is very disadvantageous to your genes, because you're unlikely to reproduce. Agoraphobia and social anxiety make it so you can't socialise at all, much less find a mate. Endometriosis can make you infertile. OCD can keep you from functioning well enough to have and care for offspring. Epilepsy can kill you before you can have children. Thyroid disorders can cause infertility.
Basically, there are loads of disadvantageous traits. Organisms evolve to reproduce most efficiently, yes, but they aren't perfect. There are all sorts of anomalies.
So wait.....what?This is the strangest thing I have seen today!Definitely OCD!!!Or maybe you have aspergers? You should get that checked out!But still that is really weird man!I have this friend who's afraid of certain types of names!Like "Damion" he says its cuz it sounds like Demon!Or any name that starts with "A" because he had a dog named Anthony who died!Turns out he's autistic. And he has OCD.
So many people on this site have mild forms of OCD. It's ridiculous! Idk whether to tell them it's normal or not
Haha, strange:D. Star Paws! One flew over the Cuckoos Chest! Such a good film:P.
I love them both. One, the story of Canis Majoris, the constellation of the "great dog", whose paws are literally made of stars. The other, the story of pirates seeking Captain Jack Cuckoo's booty. Will they ever find Cuckoo's chest? ;D
Haha:D!
I'm now trying to see if some of my favourites wouldn't make your list because they don't rhyme. Quite a lot of them do but I'm stuck on Pulp Fiction. Hmmm, I'll be trying to think of one for that all day now, I wouldn't want you to miss out:P! Aww man, thinking about it now, there's so many you can't see. Silly:P!
