Is it normal i became aroused while listening to my niece and her bf?

So, my niece is around my age, and she's currently talking about all the things she and her boyfriend are going to be doing in bed over the phone. I'm not attracted to her whatsoever, or her boyfriend for that matter. However, the more the two of them talk about it (I can't escape from hearing this), the more I'm noticing a twinge of arousal, and my thoughts drift toward a certain little-more-than-friend of mine. Is this normal?

          Yeah, I had half a mind to. I would have had everyone else in the house not been asleep. Definitely wish I had more privacy -- or that she were more discreet!
