Is it normal i’m more attracted to “undesirable” guys

I don’t know why but I hardly ever find myself being attracted to very popular guys even though everyone else seems to desire them. I try to avoid competition as much as possible in my daily life and career, maybe that’s why I’m like instinctically more attracted to guys that are in low demand because I don’t wanna compete with anyone. Almost all my crushes so far have been average looking outcast type guys. Maybe it’s because I’m an average looking outcast myself.
