Is it normal humble is not considered valuable?

I tend to be very proper, Reserved and auctully very humble about things for the most part. I know what I am good at but I dont go out of my way to tell people. I do sometimes brag if I am proven right and no one listened to me. However I dont go out of my way to say how awesome I am, I do admit if people say I am good at something I know im good at. However people say I need to talk more but I generally wait till everyone else is finished talking before I speak. Which usually astonishes people since they think im "Super Intelligent" and I dont really think so. I just gathered all the information put up and gave a answer. Isnt bragging kind of obnoxious?

Humility is a virtue, and the Seven Virtues are: chastity, temperance, charity, diligence, patience, kindness, and humility.

Stick to your guns and continue to be yourself, friend. Ain't nuthin wrong with you. Too bad you seem to surrounded by boorish asses.

Humility and kindness are to a greater degree "choices", than, say, intelligence or beauty. Therefore, it is more logical to respect people for them. Unfortunately, this is not what happens in real life.

Humility is one of my favorite qualities in a person. If you do something awesome and aren't cocky about it, it makes whatever you did that much more bad ass. Keep being you, we need more of that in this world.

It's better to not say anything, then to extreamly well at something and have everyone watch in awe.
