Is it normal he made such an effort to get hold of me but is blowing me off?
I met a guy saturday - cute, good looking, fun, best kisser I've ever come across. We spent the night together dancing and making out - he asked me to take his number, but I'd left my phone at home. He said his phone was out of battery. I assumed he was blowing me off, but he got me to call his friend's number off my friend's phone (he couldn't remember his) and leave my number as a voicemail. I was skeptical, but did it.
The next day, he actually texted me. I was very surprised, but thrilled as I really liked him - we've been texting since then. He's suggested going on a date a couple times when he's said he's drunk - first time he said 'I wanna see you soon, but after wednesday cuz I gotta sort my shit out', then last night he text me when he was wasted asking for a date on Wednesday night, to which I said yes. Today he cancelled the date saying he'd forgotten he had a party and could we raincheck, but didn't say when.
I feel like he's blowing me off - I know he said after wednesday, but he hasn't suggested another day and the situation just feels weird. But then he went to all the trouble of getting my number off his friend's voicemail and texting me - I don't get it. is it normal to make the effort then just mess me around?
