I broke up with my ex 2 months ago, we still talk on average of 5 days a week. I felt our relationship was one sided and he did care about me but I reckon I cared about him more, which sucks. Anyway everytime we talk he rushes normal witty convo into sexting and he never asks what is happening in my life etc which would be nice because I ask him all that stuff, where he is now what he is doing during the weekend etc, I am genuinely interested because he was my bf and friend at the same time.

I'm thinking of ceasing all contact with him because I don't feel like he is treating me with respect even as "friends". I feel like a piece of meat & honestly nobody should put themselves through this drivel.

      he is now so far away and we're still in love with each other and talking to him uplifts my spirits in such a massive way I can't even begin to explain it. Despite the problems we had, Its so so sad how he completes me.

    Maybe he doesn't care about you as a person, like you said, because you always ask him how he's doing and what's going on his life and he never wants to know how your life is going and what you're up to. But you have to understand that lots of guys can find it hard to show their real feelings or emotions without being judged. I used to show my emotions and girls would call me gay and say I was overly dramatic. So maybe he does care about you but doesn't want you to think that he's weak.
