Is it normal he didn't save my number

My boyfriend and I broke up and now we're starting to rekindle things. During the break up he deleted my number and then he reached out later on instagram via DM and asked me to send him a text message, I guessed he had deleted my number but yesterday morning I found out that he didn't even save my number, we text daily but he didn't even have the decency to save my number properly under my name instead I'm just a nameless contact in his phone. I feel like I don't even matter at this point.

Can I attribute it to laziness? Or assoholism? I HAVE A NAME!!

    Go back to the reason you broke up add this to it and remember why it all happened. What you must do next should be clear soon.

    Yes it's NOT normal that he never saved your number in the first place. It sounds like a red flag!

    I had a friend who didn't save my number for the first six months I knew her and when I asked her about it, she told me that she does that with everyone so she can memorize their number and then she recited my number back to me. I found it really, really sweet actually and six years later she's my best friend

    It's not that serious. Just ask him about it.

    Since you're this worried and upset about having a place in his phone, you're probably not over the break up and still feel a bit insignificant, as if he'll just deem you as unimportant and leave again.

    Sort through your feelings and calmly talk it out with your boyfriend.

    I think it is normal.I didn't save my girlfriends number for more than a year. She just saved it when I was taking a shower. I'm just too lazy to save them because I know who the numbers are from and if not, I can check their profilepicture.

    I wouldn't mind if someone doesn't save my number. Come on, there are more serious problems to worry about :D
