Is it normal he acts as if we're in a relationship but i'm still not sure yet?

I known this man for a while now and he was my driving instructor. He seems pretty amazing and I love his philosophical out look on life and I think I like him. I'm not sure because I have no experience when it comes to guys as well as the fact of wondering if I'm asexual because to be honest I don't care for sex. I know he really likes me and recently been texting on a daily basis saying where he is and asking how I am. He also has loaned me money very happily for my health that's recently gone down hill. He's always said he'll be there for me too. I'm just bit worried he's expecting things from me when I'm not sure & want to take things very slowly. I really like his company and he makes me feel good about my self. What to do!?
