IIN: have you ever pooped your pants in public as an adult unable to hold it in? This happened to me. I was in a public place and didn't make it to the bathroom in time. It was so gross and horrible. Am I alone? Has this happened to anyone else?

it ahppened to me at sea world once. to make it worse I was on my period and left the pads in my car.

I have. Luckily for me it was 6am. I was walking to work and I thought I could hold it in... but I couldn't :(
And I had to walk back home with my poopy pants and poopy legs and poopy socks.

It was an extremely weird experience. You feel panicked before it happens but when your butthole decides to open the floodgates there is a strange, calm demeanour about oneself.

My grandma had an accident in JCPenney's. I believe I had the misfortune of passing by someone who may very well have pooped their pants in Walmart just today.

Not happened to me since I was about 4.

Is this a condition or something? I mean normally you can feel a shit coming on for hours and hold it in for a while until you can find an opportune moment to go.

Sometimes I'd hold mine in all afternoon after lunch when I was at school. I had to, no way I was going in those fucking diseased school boys' toilets.

      There are some treatments, but they only help some. None have helped me unfortunately. Thanks for taking the time and care to ask. Hopefully one day soon they'll come out with a treatment that improves things for me.

      I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and it's hard for me to hold it sometimes and once in a while I just can't :(. I've been to the doctor. I've tried the current treatments, but they don't work on everyone and they didn't work on me :(.
