First off, I'm currently 20. I grew up in a fairly strict, middle-class, 2 parent home. Made A's in school and have a large supportive family.

I only have an attraction to bad boys. Ever since I can remember I've been attracted to guys with tattoos, piercings (I have a serious tongue piercing fetish), who smoke and do drugs and drink, probably steal, may have been to jail, etc. Almost every guy I've ever been majorly attracted to fits into that description. Even when I was toddler age I found myself liking older guys like that whenever I saw them. My attraction was pretty much limited to white guys, Latino or Mexicans, or mixed guys (black and white). One example is back in highschool we got a new student in class. He was a ruggid looking white guy, kinda deep voice, chill personality, messy short hair, visible tattoos and a lip ring and absolutely no care for school whatsoever. Just looking at him made me aroused and I think he could tell because he would look at me and slowly roll is tongue ring around in his mouth. I was so attracted that I ended up giving him a hj in class during a class movie. At 17 I dated a guy that was 24, high energy, been to jail, had done cocaine in his past, had guns, and had tattoos. I have been attracted to a lot of guys similar to this, older and worse.

My second type I can only describe as "psychos". I'm attracted to guys that seem to have psychological problems and therefore may be dangerous. The best examples I can give would be Mark Wahlburg's character in the movie "Fear" and the psychology guy with the glasses who ended up being a murderer in this new series of "American Horror Story". I have put myself in danger a few times messing with guys like that.

My current boyfriend has a large back tattoo, drunk alcohol, and smoked weed and cigarettes when I first met him. He did pills in his past, stole stuff, was into violence, and had been to jail. He was (and still is) very physically attractive and owns a large pet snake. I was so turned on by him that we would have sex up to 7 times a day. Over time he wanted to be a better person so he stopped stealing and I helped him quit weed and cigarettes, and he's legal age to drink (he now drinks responsibly). But now I've lost a lot of sexual attraction towards him. I don't know why I'm like this..

have u been victim to any rape or trauma or anything? the reason i ask is bcuz its psychology that such experiences can manifest themselves in this manner. a person will get bored with someone good for them and continue to want who will lead them to destruction

If this sounds like yoy, you really need to find counselling to get past it..

    It's simple psychology, you are attracted to these types because you were assaulted by one. You need some serious help before one of them snaps your fucking neck

        This is perfectly normal. Though it might be dangerous in the long run. The appeal of a perfect boy with straight A generic good boy might seem good to parents but might seem boring to you. I could see why you find this so attractive. A lot of women do. Just watch who you hook up with. Know the limits of the people you hang out with. Maybe look for someone interesting that is not going to cut your head off. This is normal but be smart.

Actually the "bad guys" don't often go to jail, they commit really bad crimes and would never get let out again if caught.

When I was in jail I noticed the majority of prisoners to be either mentally ill, drug addicted, homeless or uneducated simpletons.

I read somewhere that 85% of serial killers have no criminal record whatsoever when caught.

The "low end" of the criminal population goes in and out of jail, the "real" criminals are much to smart and sophisticated.

Nothing good can result from this. You ARE at the "I love bad boys" age (18-24) in a woman's sexual life, however. Attraction, so it's said, is not a choice. But the day WILL come when you'll regain your senses and wonder why you put up with the chaos.

You were raped some years ago and now an ex-con wants to get with you. The connection - Psychopaths have an uncanny sense of who will be vulnerable to an assault or manipulation. It's not your fault, but you're giving off a vibe that these kinds of people use to lock in and abuse you.

I like bad boys. I'm seeing a guy who has been to jail before, smokes, drinks and has tattoos. It's just something about them that excites me. And he is very physically attractive which also contributes to the attraction. Idk ppl think there is something wrong with me because I like this type of guy but personally I'm 19 and still have some growing up to do. In the meantime, I'd like to have fun and not be tied down with some boring guy.

It's not a good idea to put yourself at risk just so sate your lust.

There are plenty of guys with tatts and tongue piercings who aren't likely to bash your fucking head in if you look at another man, or end up going to prison for armed robbery, or raping you.

But hey, that's obviously your 'type'. Somebody's gotta love 'em.
