Is it normal for you best friend/partner to betray you?

I've know this guy for a year and we've been partners for 6months until I broke it off this year.

He tricked me! First he pretended to be gay but he's bi, which allowed him to get with other girls more easily behind my back (I'm bi too but I didn't lie to him).

But the worse thing is our relationship was fake!
He was dared by his friends to just get with me for laughs. He even sent really personal photos to them that I had no idea were taken in the first place.

I feel like I'm fine with dying alone now, I'm sick of people. Depression hitting me hard again too now because of this.

I'm not sure I've never been betrayed in my life 2

    Sounds similar to a family member of mine! The whole "I'm gay" then turns out he's bi! But yes, you're right ! I have been through my fair share of assholes (I'm only 21) and have come to learn to NEVER EVER trust another human being. Personally I'd trust my dog more, at least they're loyal.

      Yeah I'm starting to prefer the company of my pet than a person.
      There's too many people in this world who are so stupid and selfish.

    Well you now have two choices. You can let this experience ruin your life or you can have a great life in spite of it.
    What's done is done. Learn from it and move on.

      I've moved on from him but going to school and facing laughs and comments from his friends isn't easy.

        Why would you give any thought to what those people think? If they are part of it then they are trash. If they went along but weren't part of it, then they are trash. Do you normally associate with trash? No? Then why start now?
        Just like the pests on here, ignore them. Nothing will make them feel more impotent.

          I wish I could get revenge, but I can play the ignoring game.

          I still feel stupid for falling for his trick but I guess its nothing can make me go back in time.
