Is it normal for three year old to be put on epilim for suspested epilepsy?

my threee year old daughter had a silent seizure about three months ago and after finding out that her electrode test is abnormal the doc has put her on EPILEM i want to know if this is safe or if i should get a second opinion, they are going to do a MRI but has anyone else put a young child on this drug and if so was there anything pos or neg u can tell me about it? thanks

    Asking IIN for medical advice is the same as going up to a stranger on the street and asking. Go to a second doctor or another specialist for advice.

    I think you should get a second opinion and still get the brain scan done.

    pretty sure this is a forum for porple to share there experiences is it not????
    i am asking for people that have been through the same thing to comment and tell me wht they thought of the drug u may not realise this but i am quite scared for my daughter.
