Is it normal for stepdaughter to be so paranoid around me about the election

so My stepdaughter moved out and was visiting my wife yesterday with her fiancee.She kept ignoring me and rolling my eyes whenever I talk to her. until We ended up arguing and they left early because she refused to promise she will vote for trump. Also they haven't been dating long enough.She kept saying she didn't want to do this right now and it is none of my business and to leave her the f alone. But I feel it is very much my business. Her license is missing and now she thinks I took it because I have taken her license before to be funny. I promised to do whatever I could to stop her from voting for shrillary.I even tried to help her find it and she was like I don't want your help. I don't get why she gets all prickly like that.Just like my bitch mother in law.
