Is it normal for someone with aspergers to annoy other people with aspergers?

I am officially diagnosed and attend support groups in real life and online but other aspies have even said my repetitive behavior and things I say are irritating. I seem to have more trouble with cognative empathy and emotions than they do as well. Some even claim to have too much empathy and emotions. Aspies are known to have trouble relating to others but I have just as much trouble relating to them. I am not sure if it is because I am also diagnosed schizo which I also have different problems from the people in my schizophrenia group. Today a couple people said I seem more like someone with classic autism who just talks all the time. Talking online is easier because I can coherently organize my thoughts and put time into what I am trying to say and review it to make sure I do not keep saying the same thing. I don't know if its just me or if everyone else doesnt relate to each other but I often feel nothing in common with anybody at all.

There are different variations of aspergers. The autism spectrum is large and so some may have harder times relating to those on opposite ends of the spectrum.

I've known people with mild, moderate and severe aspergers and the mild ones would act nothing like the ones with severe aspergers so I'm certain they wouldn't be able to relate in what they deal with. Some empathize fairly okay with others but don't understand sarcasm while there are those that don't understand empathy or sarcasm. That's just some of the differences.

    • Could be. Some have said people say others tell them they dont seem autistic at all. I am not too noticeable of peoples differences or usually even aware of my own but other people comment or ask what is wrong with me quite often. Nobody has implied I seem normal although people in general are not very normal.

Here is an interview someone did of me years ago regarding my thoughts on telepathy. I had a couple beers and was a bit out of it at the time. I will try to find the full interview someday its around somewhere on my harddrives.

          • Its a bit weird to think this but I think I may have been a bit delusional at the time because I seem to be thinking I am stealing my thoughts from other people.
I don't really think that was the case anymore but that is how it felt at the time.
I do think people can share thoughts but it doesn't seem to be something we can just control. Thoughts just float around our atmosphere.

Not everyone with aspergers is the same. That's like asking "IIN for black people to annoy other black people?"
