Is it normal for someone to take hundreds of selfies of herself?

I was going through my friends phone the other day looking for this pic she needed and I noticed that 90% of her 1673 pictures was head and shoulders selfies dating back almost 3 years. I mean... There were afew normal pics of random things, and others with her and friends but a gigantic portion of them were just of HER! I get that girls take more selfies that guys do, but this is excessive in my opinion. Maybe I'm just more sensitive to it than others. I unfriend people on fb that post a new pic of their own face or their kids face every damn day

1506 pics in 3 years? Doesn't sound excessive at all.

Especially if you consider that you might take 12-30 pics at a time, just to get a single photo that looks alright. So if you do the math, that means she took one photo every 1–3 weeks... I'm surprised she doesn't have more of them.

being a woman and also having confidence and liking yourself does not make you vain or narcissistic. please destroy this notion.

That's sick, and not in a good way. It always amazes me how vain some people can be, taking hundreds of selfies of themselves as if the next one is going to be any different or better than the last.

If she's posting them allover facebook though, that would be even more annoying. What makes some people think others want to see millions of pictures of them?

Selfies annoy me. The word annoys me, the people who take them annoy me, and the people who like seing other people's selfies annoy me.

Some people take a photo every day for years to show their age progression. I those types of videos because they are very interesting. If she is doing it for those reasons, it is normal. If not, than no.

It does seem excessive to me. Is she documenting the ageing process or something?
