Is it normal for people to argue with you when you say you're a virgin?

I went out on a date with this girl I met online and when I told her I was a virgin she refused to believe me. She actually argued with me. She said stuff like I don't believe you, your too cute too confident ect...

I thought it was weird that A girl would argue with me over that. Typically if a man says he's a virgin he is, guys tend more often to lie about not being virgins. But I just chalked it up to her being crazy, until another friend said if she didn't know that I don't lie she wouldn't believe me either.

She said I would probably argue if I were her too, You seem way too confident and have too much of a dominant personality. Like If I didn't know you were a virgin I would naturally assume you weren't, even now I still find it hard to believe.

I've had chances in the past to lose my v card but non of them appealed to me all that much so I declined.

So is it normal for girls to argue with you, refusing to believe you are a virgin?
