Is it normal for one sibling to get more material objects that another?

No, both kids should be treated fairly 33
No, the older one should get it all 2
No, the younger one should get it all 2
Neither kids should get anything 5

    My sister has received a smartphone and a several hundred pound laptop but my parents have never got me anything of the sort.
    At least I'm not spoilt and know that if I want something I must work for it.
