Is it normal for nagging and being anal to cause the end of a relationship.

I am a dude.mY gf broke up with me after seven years because she can't stand the fact that I nag her so much. She is a nice person and very beautiful but no offense she is rather stupid and ditzy and a slob and someone has to help this girl. She can't park a car do dishes clean up eat right take a bath right ,do her nails or hair right, have sex right, drive correctly , or speak proper English, or chew right , someone has to help her know how to live because her parents totally failed and that is me. Because I know how to do things the correct way.She said it is very draining being around me, like I am always lurking around her ready to pounce on her every mistake. I think she is being overly sensitive. she feels like as soon she walks in the door I start scolding her like she is a dumb kid. She is not the only one who has said I am overly critical, my family and coworkers think I am very critical. Some waitresses and two librarians refuse to wait on me because of this. But I can't stop because it drives me nuts when people don't do things the way I do them.
