Is it normal for my straight friends and i to act gay with one another?

Even though we are all presumably straight males (I know I am), my friends and I occasionally indulge in certain homoerotic behaviors with one another, including tickling, spanking, lap-dances, groping, stroking, and referring to each other with homosexual slurs. Is it normal for straight males to bond in such a way? We're not gay.

Displaying exaggerated, stereotypical gay behaviour is a way that straight people can use as an attempt to show they are comfortable and not insecure about their sexuality. It's something that I see often. Normal.

Might not be a common practice haha but me and my friends do it all the time as well. It's just all in good fun.

That's called experimenting. Plus some ladies think its pretty cute and attractive if they know you're not gay.

  • Honestly, I wouldn't say it's normal, not because being gay isn't normal, to me, it is but because if you are all truly straight, I don't think you would even be inclined to act like that.
