so me and my partner have been together nearly 3 years-we have a child of 21 months :) any way i have a few issues with our realtionship!

so he pays me no attention only to make fun of me-he rather play on his xbox or you tube! the first thing he does when he comes in from work is play you tube videos and then the xbox and the first thing he does in the morning is play the youtube videos until he goes to work! can someone give me some advice? and we are only 22! what the hell is going on :(

    21 months? Why don't you say one year and nine months? Jesus that's like saying I am 232 months.

    As I'm sure you can tell, guys have one-tracked minds and once they get on certain habbits or routines they feel content in, they tend to stick with them.
    Don't take anything he's doing right now personal, considering your young age and having a small child he's going to want to feel like he has something to do for himself, that he enjoys still. Thats okay!
    All you have to do if you want his attention is to GRAB it. Surprise him with a date, or his favorite meal, or even a gamestop card! You know your man better than anyone and it shouldn't take great lengths to get his eye for the night. Once things are going really well, nicely tell him how you feel without getting upset or making him feel attacked.
    Just tell him you wish you could have more nights like such, because you enjoy him so much. Don't be afraid to drop some not-so-subtle hints! Men rarely pick up on the little things, it's just not their normal nature. :)

    1. I find it rather hilarious that people are assuming you are working within the forces just because you refer to your other half as your 'partner'.

    2. It's common, but it shouldn't be normal.

    Some have it worst, some have it better. I know that game addiction as broken many relationships but there are relationships where it's not a problem; game, or internet.

    Give him space and let him play his xbox, the world doesn't revolve around you. He'll like you more if you let him finish his game!

    Cut the plugs off that stupid xbox and computer! You need to force him to grow up! Sadly, there are too many like him but to be frank, you're wasting your life with a waster like him.

    Please, please, please do NOT have any more children with this fool. Some women are so stupid they think that a little baby will cement their relationship WRONG!!!!

    partner? Are you police officers? If so that may be the issue. You should both do a drug bust together.... maybe bring you closer together.
