Is it normal for my live-in bf to get very angry if i don't want to have sex?

I've never had a boyfriend act this way before, but he seems to think it's normal.

Ok here's the situation, he bought me a $3k car a few days ago. Last night he got really drunk then started talking about sexual acts with some ex of his. this was hurtful, (but I was mostly upset because I can't even mention ex's without some jealous outburst from him.)

So about 20 mins later he tried to get me to do the same type of thing that he described earlier. I didn't want to and he turned it into a huge fight.

Is this normal behavior?

  • No it is not normal! You should break up with him if he keeps it up. He could turn into someone that is very abusive.

Buy a strapon and turn the tables on him - become extremely demanding and he may just get the point to stop being such a dickhead - hopefully he does - if not stand up for yourself. Don't let anyone coerce you into anything you don't want to do. Good luck.

not normal, i had an ex like this and he turned out to be a cheating abusive asshole, the behaviour escalated and he often would pressure me for sex and touch me continuously when i said no.

talk to him about it, if it keeps going on then leave the jerk.

You're his girlfriend, not his possession to be used however he wants. Someone needs to make that clear to him.

not normal. My ex used to get mad if I refused sex. After a while he started forcing me to do it. He also used to push me and my kids around. I think that this is one of the 1st signs of abuse. Get out while you can!

Wow. Creepy. It may be really hard, but, for your own safety and the safety of your heart, leave him if he doesn't respect you... try to talk about it with him if you want, but if he is still freaky, then... definitely, a red flag of hurt. Leave him be and find someone amazing.
Someone who doesn't respect who they are with never belonged in that person's life in the first place.

1- its really disgusting to talk about previous sexual partners
2- its even more disgusting to force a girlfriend to do things she doesn't want to.

Get rid off him. You'll meet someone much better and- hey, at least you've got a car out of him.

Get away from him before he hurts you. That's a really really fucking big red flag right there.

Even though he was drunk, that still sounds serious. Watch out, and don't be afraid to end the relationship.

  • What does the car have to do with anything?

Can you buy a car for $3,000?
