Is it normal for my girlfriend to not want to have sex unless she uses douche bag powder first.
We all know it smells like fish down there , so what's the big deal ?
Definitely not, douching just messes up with the vaginal ph and causing bacteria. A bath and rinsing the vagina with water is all it takes to clean it. If it smells fishy she may have a yeast infection or an STD. A normal vagina has a slight odor but not a pungent fishy smell. Might wanna get that checked out and stop douching.
She probably doesn't feel clean or whatever alot of girls are real self concious about that stuff.
When I was in high school , all high school chiquita's smelled like fish.
Also, if it really is fishy down there it could be from douching too often. If the ph balance is changed it can allow bacteria to grow, giving it a smell it shouldn't have
Douche bags, if used continuously over a long period does destroy the protective mucous layer in the vagina,which then makes it easier for bacterial infections to occur in the vagina and eventually makes the vagina so sensitive that it becomes painful for a woman to even wear underwear.
You should tell your girlfriend to do a bit of research before continuing to use them and to maybe rather try deodorized panty liners if she is worried about odour.
um no, it doesn't if you bathe. nobody douches, this isnt the 1970s. they got proven to be unsafe because it wrecks the bacteria in vaginas or something.
