Is it normal for my bf to need to go home to his mom's house after sex. he's 40

Is it normal for the man I am dating to freak out after we had sex for the first time & say he needs to go home to his mom and spend the night at his mom’s house. He is 40 years old. The very first time we had sex he ejaculated after about 3 strokes. Then he immediately called his dealer to try to get some weed. When he was unable to secure any weed that’s when he said he needs to go home to his mom’s. The 2nd time we had sex he lasted longer but then got really upset at seeing his semen in the condom (he said, “I really don’t like seeing or touching cum”) and he looked almost tearful and very awkward. He seemed jumpy and anxious. He also looked at me as if he was terrified of me all of a sudden. The next day he more or less returned to normal.

I’m starting to suspect he experienced some kind of sexual trauma in the past
