Is it normal for me to feel much more affectionate towards chinese people?

I can spot Chinese from a mile away and always feel drawn towards them. Their ideas, cultures and whole mannerisms just make so much more sense to me than people I meet in Holland, or Europe really, which is where I come from. I have felt this way for as long as I can remember.

I don't only mean romantically by the way, because Chinese make such better friends to me than European too! I do not even speak Chinese...

Was I a Chinese man in my former life or something??

Sometimes I feel like I was born on the wrong continent. Does this sound normal to you??

    Its funny to read this because it relates so much to my situation. I'm from Holland too, and my whole family (especially me and my dad) just like China (and Asia, for that matter) so much more than our own country. We're thinking about moving to Indonesia or Hong Kong in a few years.

    I live in China. And yes, they have an interesting culture and ways of being; but Europe as a whole has a lot of culture and interesting aspects too. For me, Chinese people are very different and think in a pretty abstract way. I personally feel more attracted to Europeans and western cultures in general. They behave and think in ways I will never be totally confortable with.

    i think you like their juvenilization......mammals instinctivelyfeel more loving and affectionate towards their youngest members ...children are cute because theyhave big heads relative towards theirbodies ....the have big eyes, big foreheads, smallnoses , small ears and chins, etc...women are more juvenile than men...and asiatics are the most juvenile of the human specie...it does not mean they are immature just sort of cuter physicaly
