Sometimes when I'm done in the bathroom I barely wash my hands. I just turn the faucet on for like 1-2 seconds and let it fall on my hands for an instant, then towel off and leave.
I know its bad for everyone around me, and when I remember, I consciously wash my hands the CORRECT way, but is this what everyone else is doing?
I have an overactive bladder and therefore go to the bathroom almost every half an hour just to go #1. If I washed my hands every time they'd get all wrinkly so I do it every couple of times. Pooping is another story. I always wash unless I'm in a hurry. Then I use hand sanitizer. Sometimes I get annoyed when other people are in the bathroom because I feel like I have to wash.

if you didn't..... well sometimes in public places I'll wash my hands just as a routine, for the excuse of DRYING my hands with a paper towel and using the paper towel to open the door (just in case you peed on your hand before I got there and didn't bother to wash and touched that doorknob...)
i think a lot of people don't wash their hands at all - they just don't like admitting it!

Peed is ok, but if you shat you should use soap otherwise its disgusting as hell.

Eh, you're not contributing to the proliferation of super bacteria. I mean really, even the best soaps only kill 99.9% of bacteria... which means the strongest .1% survive and breed more incredibly strong bacteria. Why do you think there's a differant strain of the flu virus every year?
Urine is sterile anyways (unless you have a UTI) so even if you did p!ss on your hands, while I wouldn't want a hand shake or a hug from you, you'd probably be fine (besides smelling like p!ss).

It depends on whether you are talking about urination or defaecation and whether or not you are at home.
Having a pee at home, I would give my hands a quick rinse under the taps, like you, for a couple of seconds. In public toilets though, it's soap, hot water for a good 10 seconds, rinse, dry, then avoid hand contact with anything else like door handles.
But we should all wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm/hot water after a shit, at home or away.
Frankly I think it's better to wash your hands before going to the washroom (#1 not #2). As a dude, I don't want to be touching my (clean) private bits with unclean hands.
