Why do women that are in a commited relationship flirt with other men ..online and exchange cell phone numbers to txt each other "talk" and say that they are friends when they dont even know each other and the just meet online...and even add these people to thier social networks and they know nothing about them other than what that persone tell them.. then they lie about it or hide it....

    If they caught their significant other doing it first they might do it out of spite, or to make themselves feel better with no intention of following through. But that doesn't really count, does it?

    If they're hiding something then it's something they shouldn't be doing, but it is possible to flirt for ego but if it's sexual flirting on their part then it's unacceptable!!

    Maybe they really are friends.

    I'm married. I've "met" some males (and females too) on the internet that I've become pen-friends with. I like them as much as I like any friend. The friendship is special because I don't know what they look like, what their voice sounds like, but I know them through their diction and syntax. It's like knowing a person through their thoughts and nothing else. It's interesting.

    Yes, it's normal for committed people, male and female, to flirt outside of their relationship - it happens ALL the time. Nothing new there.

    Ick. It's wrong, there shouldn't be any flirting going on outside of a relationship or marriage. They're most likely doing it because it gives them an ego boost.
