Is it normal for husband not to feel embarrassed?

One morning being off day,I was relaxing in bedroom. My husband had an appointment with his friend to see him at our house. I had completely forgotten it. So when I smelled coffee brewing, I got up and went to kitchen presuming that my husband would be making coffee. I was totally nude as usual. Entering the kitchen, I got embarrassed for a moment as hubby's friend was sitting there. My hubby saw me, said nothing except would I sip coffee there or in bed room. I returned to room saying I would have coffee there. Later, I was expecting that he would say something or show his anger for appearing nude in front of friend. But he said nothing. I myself initiated it but he was calm and replied smiling: so what? Enjoy your life.
Was it normal or OK for him to take it lightly?

I think he found it funny because you didn't expect his friend to be there. If you knew his friend would be there and you appeared nude in front of him, fully conscious of the consequences, then I think your husband would have been a bit more pissed off.

You are right. It was neither in my memory nor expected anybody to come so early. I think my husband is great not to get annoyed.

My husband is used to seeing me in the nude in front of his friends, family etc. since I am always nude at home. He has never asked me to dress since we've been married.
I have always loved being naked and wouldn't change. He respects my choice in freedom of not wearing clothes. So far there have been no problems with others accepting my nudity, if they don't like then don't look.

We both have been staying nude at home since our marriage. Some of our close relatives, like my sister, his sister, my mom, etc know it. A few of our friends also share our company while we both are nude. That particular event was embarrassing at least for me because his friend had never seen me nude.

They were calm because my husband was reading some papers perhaps brought by his friend.
It was not deliberate move on my part.

It sounds like your husband could be very secure about your relationship, he just doesn't have any hang-ups about nudity, or he simply doesn't give a damn about what you do. Only you know which of those apply.

His response to this is maybe not how most husbands would react, but it's far better than him totally freaking out and accusing you of deliberately flaunting yourself.

What I find odd about this tale is that apparently your husband and friend were sitting in complete silence in the kitchen. If they were talking, that should have reminded you that the friend was going to be there.

So is this is just a normal IIN troll? A pathetic little fantasy? Or did you walk into the kitchen knowing full well that the friend was there?

I wouldn't be surprised if you knew damn well that the friend was there, you were hoping to provoke an extreme response from your husband, and you posted the question here because you've been left disappointed by his calm, rational, and reasonable reaction.
