I don't get why you would want to smell like a different species. Why not smell like a gorilla or mushroom?
I love flowers. Flowers smell nice. They look pretty. Too. I like to look at the flowers. and smell them also. They grow with water. And the sun shines.
Many people like to give off a scent that is appealing to others. I think there are more people who like the smell of flowers than there are people who like the smell of gorillas.
It is the same reason floral scents are more common than gorilla scents in home air fresheners.
The whole notion of good-bad as far as smell and taste is concerned is interesting to me.
