Is it normal for her to do this, its a little long but help me out here please

well there is this girl i love and i have told her about it. for some reason it wouldn't work out and she had started seeing this other guy. so i started maintaining my distance and trying to get over it (haven't been able to yet fucking 2 years now. but cant help it) so i did not talk to her for like 6 months and one day out of the blue she calls and says that she misses me and all that. i spoke to her but still tried not to get really attached. this was in august last year. the next proper talk i had with her was during new year 2013, i got really drunk and so was she, but i kept to my limits and was on my way to drop her home after a long night. so in the cab she leans on me and asks if i still loved her. my dam broke and i told her that i still loved her but it really doesn't matter because she was soon to get married. out of the blue she says that she does not want to marry him because he kind of broke her trust. i did not ask what then just dropped her off. 2 days later i met her again to ask what really was going on. she said that there were at least four incidents where she had walked in on her boyfriend doing something and she could not trust him anymore. but she would put up with it and give him another chance because the whole family gearing up for their wedding. i asked her to at least talk about it to some one because i was the only one she had told this to. about two weeks later i got a call from her and she was in tears. she said that she caught him doing it again and this time she is calling it off. i asked her what exactly is he doing. apparently he is a jerk off who downloads pics of girls from FB imagines having sex with them and masturbates. now i told her that everything was going to be fine and stuff. but after that call she did not contact me for another month, did not even wish me on my birthday. when i asked she said that she does not want to see me hurt anymore. i think that its bull shit. the worst part is that she is still with that asshole and i don't know why he keeps getting lives like super mario and i did not even get 1 chance. need some advise on what to do.
