Is it normal for hair on a person to be a turn-off?

Not saying I wouldn't date a person with hair, but hair anywhere but on your head and your eyebrows it a /really/ huge turn-off to me. It's just...I can't imagine sliding my hands through chest hair without shuddering, arm hair too. I mean relationship wise by the way. I don't mind if we're friends and your hairy, but if we're dating it's either you're going to shave with me, or I'm not shaving either. I'd eventually shave, obviously, but it's just be a way to make them realize how I feel I guess? It's just really gross to me. Sorry. I hope this doesn't make anyone feel bad or anything. You're great the way you look. ^^

      Yucky. No beard. A shadow, maybe, but no full on beard.
      Actually, I can think of some people who kind of pull it off..
      Okay fine, SOME people with a beard, but mostly no. They have to be either tattooed or hipster though, nobody else can do it.

      Well, I'm a Senior in High School, but it's not going to change for me. I really just don't like hair. It's really unattractive to me, but at the same time I wouldn't not date someone whose hairy, it's just preferable for me that they shave too. I don't really see what the big deal is?

      I know people say, "He's Gay if he shaves " but come on. Why is it a woman should shave and it's expected of her, but it's totally okay for guys to feel hairy? Do you think I wanna feel your hairy leg against mine any more than you'd wanna feel my hairy leg against yours? Sorry, I'm not trying to come off snooty or anything, that's just how I feel.
