Is it normal for gf to be sooooooo mad if ex texts me?

I've been dating this girl for a year and a half. Great girl, relationship is good.

My GF thinks its wrong to talk to exs. I personally don't care as long as its kosher (normal, no bad intentions etc). She thinks I'm wrong and I think she is weird.

My ex texts me sometimes. I don't want her to, but she does. Just saying 'hey' etc. Normal stuff.

My GF goes nuts if she finds it. Most of the time I don't reply. I just delete it. My ex does still like me, but she knows I would never be with her and that I love my current GF.

So anyway..
1. Do you think its normal to casually (once or twice a month) to reply to a text from an ex?

2. Do you talk to exs?

3. Are you OK with your current partner to talk to an ex?

If your ex still has feelings for you then no don't reply. You are giving her false hope.
If ya all are just friends and none of you have feelings I would say its okay.

    But yeah no. Ignore her.

Pixie is right. The fact that your ex still wants you complicates things. I would leave her be.

Why does anyone have to talk to their ex? That is over and done with. Remember you moved on? There are plenty of other people to talk with.

Also, your relationship is with your girlfriend not us. Our opinion does not matter, and every relationship is different.

The two of you need to set boundaries. If she is not comfortable with you talking to your ex, and you want to remain in a relationship with her, then you should to listen to her. That is what being in a relationship is about.

My ex and I are great friends, but I don't have a current gf, so I can't really compare to you. She sounds jealous and insecure, not so much that you should leave her, but enough that you should talk to her about it.
