Is it normal for ex to want to show off?

So lets say she/he is in a new relationship and they're making a point to show it off to you. They're intentionally doing things hurtful to you and using this person to hurt you and they both for some reason hate you when you've done nothing to either of them.

Is this normal for someone to hate you because they're in a new relationship? They're making a point to share things they shared with you with that person and taking them places they took you. Are they just immature and trying to get under your skin and get a reaction out of you?

If you were in this situation what would you do?

    That is so childish. I would just ignore it which would pretty easy since I don't do the Facebook or any of that nonsense, which seems to stir up more shit than anything else.
