Is it normal for different attachments with males and females?

Basically while I'm only sexually attracted to women, I feel like I am able to be emotionally attached to both men and women. (I'm a guy) I feel like I could allow myself to go for a guy just as long as there was no up the butt action. As long as they were nice or whatever, I feel like I could have an emotional attachment to them, just not a physical attraction. Does this make sense? Is it normal?

Contratulations, you're a normal, healthy human.

It may be beneficial to not allow the clueless judgements of our superficial society dictate who you are or who you choose to love.

Emotional attachments are often at the core of all my friendships. This is what makes them my friends. Of course it's normal to have an emotional attachment without a physical attraction. I have an emotional attachment to my family but I am not physically attracted to them. And there are plenty of people I am physically attracted to but without an emotional attachment, I find them quite boring.

It happens. There's also people out there who are physically attracted to one gender but emotionally attracted to the other.

If I was going to guess, you're probably bicurious. Society places a big taboo on homosexuality, so I wouldn't be suprised if it's more of a desire not to get labeled than anything else.
