Is it normal for an adult to talk to young kids on the internet

To start off I have little to no sexual desires AT ALL, let alone for children. I would not want to hurt them by even talking about sexual things.

with that out of the way, is it normal that I'm in my early 20s and i get along with people almost half my age? Maybe it's because I'm not interested in sex, whereas it seems like most people my age try to turn everything sexual with me and it's annoying.I like to watch cartoons and play video games and I guess you could say I'm immature or mentally deficient to be able to talk to kids, but is it really that weird?

Also, I don't specifically seek out little kids. I would prefer people closer to my age it just doesn't work out that way though. I actually meet them while playing games that are meant to be for 18+, and some of them are more perverted than me. I've had young guys send pics of there penis to me on Second Life before, and on this other site the kids draw a lot of porn and stuff.

so is it normal i go to chat rooms and talk to them. I feel embarrassed after while and say I should leave but they say no they like me and want to get to know me. I think it's fine as long I keep it clean but some people seem to automatically think im a Pedo or a retard for this.
