Is it normal for a trans sister to transition using parents money w/o telling?

The thing is my sister is newly in college and decided to start buying hormones to appear more feminine. This would be fine expect she's using our parents' money, because she's never had a job or earned anything ever. My dad doesnt' really seem to accept her being trans while my mom does. It just seems so wrong that she's using their money without telling them, ecspecially when they dont really understand. Why can't she wait until she starts making her own income? It's not like she's going to be poor, she's becoming some type of physist or scientist. I just want to know if it's normal for young trans people to do this, not discussing with their parents or trying to earn their own means for it.
It doesn't make sense to me...

The sooner someone has access to treatment, the better it is for their transition, in several ways. That would be why she is doing it sooner than later.

Still doesn't make it ok to use someone else's money for it without their permission.

Amazing isn't it...not talking to idiots makes such a difference in my patience levels.

I've yet to see you not be an idiot, but that's neither here nor there.

If your "sister" has a shlong he's not your sister yet. It's great that you support your trans sibling, but it's kinda shitty of your sibling to be dishonest about money especially when it's ya'll's folks' money. I think the desperation regarding hormones is normal for a trans person, going about it in a dishonest manner isn't cool though.

No, it's irresponsible and wrong. If your 'sister' wants to mess around with drugs, your parents shouldn't have to foot the bill. Judging from you've said, this isn't going end well.

If your sibling needs hormones to appear more "feminine" he is NOT your sister but your brother
