Is it normal for a straight guy to have lots of gay friends and no girlfriend?
I am a straight guy and 90% of my friends are gay. Also, I almost never have a girlfriend... So I am surrounded by gayness almost all the time.
The thing is that I am not interested in any sport and I don't drink or party... so regular guys usually don't befriend me. On the other hand, I am kind of femenine in certain aspects, so people usually think I am gay as well, so they don't approach me. Also, I am quite open-minded about homosexuality, I am not homophobic at all and I am always nice to gay people.
I am 100% straight... I never wanted anything with any guy. My gay friends know this as well, even when they initially thought I was gay, in the end, when they got to know me, they realized I am completely straight.
I love my gay friends, they are really nice and we have a lot of fun together. I also don't feel pressured to act all macho all the time, so I actually feel more free with them. Sometimes I even go to some "gay activities" with them.
However... I don't know any other straight guy so deep into the gay world. I feel like maybe what I am doing is not so normal and that I should get more straight friends or try to be around more girls... maybe even try to get a girlfriend.
In fact, I feel as if I was technically a gay person that just doesn't have any gay relationship. I don't know, is what's happening to me normal?
